I have an 18 year old gelding that came in from the pasture one afternoon with his right rear leg very swollen. There were no lacerations, just swelling. The vet came out to check him and she did x-rays to make sure there were no fractures which thank goodness there weren’t any. She diagnosed it as a “soft tissue” injury and put him on stall rest for a month.
The month came and went and the swelling had only gone down slightly so we continued stall rest for another month along with some light walking not wanting to exacerbate the issue.
In the meantime my husband ran into an old friend, Jay Schroder and my horse came up in conversation. Jay suggested we try the EVO UltraFit System and Neurological Therapy on our gelding.
We set up an appointment, Jay came out and did some initial therapy. This therapy continued for 10 days, 30 minutes per day with me performing the sessions as instructed after the initial consultation with Jay.
I was amazed at the difference in his leg and was back in the saddle within a few weeks! I am SO grateful to Jay and can’t thank him enough!
